Groups are utilized within the community as a means of gathering members who share a commonality, and generating participation and interest. Groups promote interaction and communication among their members. Forums, blogs, events, and various communication paths may be set up exclusively for the group members.
Within the WGR Community, our main group consists of our Task Forces. The current Task Forces are:
There are several ways to navigate to your groups page.
The first way to access your groups is from the home page of the WGR Community. Using the top navigation bar, select the middle tab Groups, and then Task Forces underneath pictured below.
The second way to access your groups is using the My Profile feature on the right hand rail of the WGR Community home page pictured below.
The third way to access your groups is from your feed using the top navigation bar.
Any WGR member can join any WGR Task Force. To join a group, take a look a the available groups on the right hand side of the screen. Click the plus sign next to Join Group and you'll be added.
To Leave a group, find the group you wish to leave under you groups. select Actions in the bottom left hand corner of the group box. Click the drop down arrow, pictured below, and select Leave Group.
Within your groups, you can post on the feed, participate in forums, comment on blogs, and keep up to date with the events of each task force.
Ensure you stay up to date with your groups by checking your preferences.
