Judy Schneider Fellowship Finalists Announced

Established in 2015, in conjunction with WGR’s 40th anniversary, the Judy Schneider Fellowship is named in gratitude and appreciation for the immense impact Judy Schneider has had on WGR and the thousands of women she has mentored, developed, and trained through her Direct Connect to Congress education series, since 1985. The fellowship provides real life opportunities to build your professional and personal skill set as an emerging government relations professional. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talent, ethical, savvy, and passionate advocates.

The pool of 2019 fellowship candidates was competitive with nearly 100 applicants. Following the completion of the interview process, seven finalists have been selected:
Legislative Analyst, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP)
Field Organizer, Coordinated Campaign
Legislative Correspondent, Senator Tammy Baldwin
Government Affairs Coordinator, National PTA
Strategy Director, American Muslim Women's PAC
Legislative Assistant, U.S. House of Representatives - Debbie Dingell (MI-12)
Professional Staff Member, Subcommittee on Transportation and Protective Security of the Committee on Homeland Security, U.S. House of Representatives
