Event Description 


Representative Bonamici championed many of the improvements found in this comprehensive update of the Higher Education Act, including: updates to Federal Work Study, improvements to student loan programs, supports for students with disabilities, and stronger financial counseling for borrowers. In her capacity as Chair, Representative Bonamici has held hearings investigating the proposed cuts to the National School Meal Program,  workplace protections against discrimination and harassment, and federal programs to end youth homelessness, neglect, and abuse. As a steadfast advocate for arts and STEM education, the Congresswoman will also discuss her passions as the co-founder and Chair of the Congressional STEAM Caucus.

  • Non Member: $40

Payment, Replacement & Refund Policy
WGR event registration fees must be paid in advance. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute, however you are responsible for the difference in fees if the individual is a non-member. The deadline to receive a refund is three (3) business days prior to the event. The request must be received in writing, prior to the deadline.
