Event Description

What is the future of foreign policy in Congress? Our speakers will cover the views of the chairs of the House Foreign Affairs and Senate Foreign Relations Committees on foreign policy plans for the next two years. They will touch on competition with China and Russia, developments in trade negotiations, and expected focal points for legislation.  We look forward to a robust discussion of areas on which they think bipartisan agreement exists, as well as coming challenges in foreign policy.

  • Jennifer Hendrixson-White, Professional Staff, House Foreign Affairs Majority
  • Maggie Dougherty, Professional Staff Member, Senate Foreign Relations Committee

A light breakfast will be provided.
