Event Description

Just as cell phones displaced landlines and the automobile displaced carriages, AV is poised to be a system disruptor in ways that we can only begin to imagine. Do rideshare services envision utilizing AV in the same way? Without federal legislation addressing AV directly, how are municipalities and states regulating the AV space? How will AV impact existing transportation and infrastructure systems?

The Transportation & Infrastructure and  Telecom, Tech, & IP task forces announce a joint panel discussion on autonomous vehicles (AV). The panelists will include representatives from government, industry, and safety coalitions each presenting a unique perspective on AV.

A light breakfast will be provided.
